On 27 & 28 August Cairns welcomed a business delegation from Lae comprising the Hon. John Rosso-Member for Lae; Paul Murphy-Consul-General Lae; President John Byrne and business members of the Lae Chamber of Commerce and Councillors from the Lae City Council.  Tradelinked partnered with the Cairns Regional Council to facilitate a program for the delegation whilst in Cairns.  Delegates were treated to an array of  business; cultural and social activities during their time in Cairns.  Members of the delegation also met with representatives of the local PNG community and continued discussions relating to our two regions’ Sister City Agreement.
