On 19 May 2020 through the Centre for Global Development Professor Chand published a paper entitled “Managing Fiscal Challenges in Contemporary Papua New Guinea” co-authored by Junaid Sadiq Masood and Vijaya Ramachandran.

Note: Professor Satish Chand is Professor of Finance in the School of Business at the University of New South Wales and based at the Australian Defence Force Academy in Canberra.  He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Crawford School of Economics and Government at the Australian National University.  His research interests include labour migration, fragile states, and the challenges of development.  He is one of Australia’s most respected economic commentators on the Pacific islands countries.
