Festival Cairns is an annual event running from 25 August to 3 September in 2023.  The overriding vision has been to deliver a bright, bold and challenging program spanning visual and performing arts, culture and entertainment while showcasing the city’s key cultural precincts.  Key events include Carnival of Collins (Fathers Day) and the Grand Parade.  The festival also links into the Cairns Amateurs Racing Carnival in early September.  For further information on events in Cairns visit: www.cairns.qld.gov.au
