On Thursday 13 July 23, Tradelinked and EiiC welcomed our PNG Coffee; Chocolate and Show Days Delegation to Cairns.  The group, made up of Government representative and Coffee Growers from the Morobe Province got off to a great start with a trip to Innisfail to meet with the Cassowary Coast Regional Council and visit the Innisfail Show.  The delegation also visited other regional centres such as Babinda and Kuranda.   The purpose of the delegation was to see first-hand the options and opportunities Cairns agribusiness may bring.  Visits to Jaques Coffee; Charley’s Chocolate Processing Factory; Mt Emerald Ice-Creamery; Rusty’s Markets and the FNQ Food Incubator were a highlight of the visit.   The Delegates also met with Mr Michael Healy MP, Member for Cairns and Assistant Minister for Tourism industry Development who attended the Tradelinked Business Networking event in Cairns.

This Delegation was facilitated by Tradelinked and EiiC and supported by Trade & Investment Qld and Cairns Regional Council.
